College Grad!

Congratulations to Joey, Roy & Debbie's oldest, who graduated from the University of Reno this month! Joey will be teaching individual lessons for freshmen & sophomores at Reno. He's also teaching at students' homes, as well as his performing in gigs in Tahoe, Truckee (The Joey Berger Trio), Carson City at a Cigar Bar, weddings, grand openings and jazz across Reno. He'll begin his Masters in a year, after some time off. Aahhh, all sweet music to a family's ear!

Julia's 1st birthday party

Julia opened presents, enjoyed her cake and loved playing with her toys Sunday at her party. She was scooting around the floor and just having fun and smiling, too!
Sister Rachel helped her dad (Paul) put together one of the toys. She's quite a mechanic's helper!

Happy Father's Day

Dad will always be in our midst. These are 2 of my favorite photos of Dad, one at the Browns game listening to the play-by-play and the other, celebrating a grandchild's birthday. Dad just loved life - and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He's such a strong role model for fathers every where.

Is it summer yet?

It is amazing how small my world may feel. Apparently it is in the 90s in the Midwest and East, yet we've had ONE DAY in the 70s, and that was more than a month ago. We're still in the 40s and 50s with lots of rain! I am really losing my faith that summer will come for us here in Montana. From my perspective right now, global warming is a total hoax. ;)

I've worn my sandals 3 times - and only for 30 minutes at a time because the rain came so quickly! Bless you all who get to work on a tan and your flower beds. :D

June Jottings

It's summer here in Ohio with the heat up in the 90s. We set a record high yesterday at 93 degrees! The garden is growing, pool open and that kept us busy outdoors, forgetting to post here on the Berger blog.

Graduation!

Craig, Gerry & Debbie's youngest son, graduated from Avon High this afternoon. He's headed to Ohio Northern where he will major in civil engineering. He's soaring new heights as an Eagle alum to tackle the math/engineering challenges as a Polar Bear. Congrats! Best of luck, Craig!
