Close...but no snow record - yet

We need just 2.7 inches by Sunday to beat the record of the snowiest January which measured 42.8 inches in 1978. I say, let's go for it! If we had to put up with 10 inches in 24 hours yesterday, then why not go for 3 inches more! We've come this far. Why stop now! Let's go another 2.7 l/11111th!
Well, hope all are doing fine and weathering whatever weather you have whether in the north or whether in the south. Okay, enough of the whether weather.

Grandmas' day

Another grandma left the world on a Jan. 23.

Justin’s grandmother, Rosemary Brent, 87, passed away Friday, Jan. 23. She was a founding member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Newbury.

Our prayers go out to Brian and Bette, Justin and the rest of the Brent family.

Two birthdays

A very happy birthday to Jon who is 22, and Craig, 19, today. The cousins just happen to share a birth date and celebrating it bit differently - one in very warm weather, the other, well, let's just say it very cold up in Ohio.
