Anniversary day

It's been 32 years today. Ok, who in the world gets married in February? Yeah, but it's relatively decent outside today!
Happy Anniversary, Bob - and thanks for the wonderful years.

On a sadder note, it's been 5 years since Dad's death. Sometimes it seems like yesterday, others, too long ago.

hi everyone...this is larry for cousin marilyn...she will be having cataract surgery on feb. 26, otherwise doing well healthwise. she keeps busy with the grandchildren...nicholas 7 (julie) who is an intelligent boy. he is diabetic and attends louisa may alcott school in cleveland; they live in ruth's house on 3413 w. 159. there isn't anything he can't read. amy 4 (julie) attends le chaperon rouge preschool in rocky river and she's a little whippersnapper! alexis 6 (sam) and sarah 4, attend preschool at royal redeemer lutheran church in north royalton. they have been taking pony riding lessons in the valley and we have seen them every sat. for the past two months.
julie works for the clinic as a home occupational therapist and really enjoys her job, as it is extremely flexible. she was divorced on june 4, 2008. whoopee!!! but as some of you know it is also something that keeps on giving!
sam works at cwru as a biochemist in genetic research. they hired him to run a dna spectrometer that they purchased. dana teaches nursing at kent.
larry bums around most of the time since retirement in 1996. lots of love to everyone. we still live at 21114 westwood, fairview park, 440.333.8690.

A very happy birthday to Sophia today. Well, she's the youngest of the family so we won't mind mentioning her age - 46. Remember, Sophia, it's only a number, it's only a number...and a young one at that!

It's Groundhog Day!

Will he or won't he see his shadow???? No matter which one, we northerners expect 6 more weeks of winter. That is just the way it is up here.
So grab another pair of socks, pull on that sweater and recognize you live in Ohio!

The Day The Music Died

It was 50 years ago this weekend when Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper played their last concert. They died in a plane crash. Cousin Mary Kay Stein is rockin' and rollin' at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa to commemmorate that Feb. 2, 1959 concert. The plane crash occurred hours later around 12:10 a.m. the next day. I can't find a really good tribute to the three which includes their music. But here are some song choices you can click on and listen - and remember.
